A 10-minute walkthrough from signup to your first sale flowing through Hygge.
Hygge replaces the last leaky step of your Shopify funnel with a drawer-style checkout that runs on your own Whop account. You stay the merchant of record. We just route the payment.
This page is the short version — three steps, about ten minutes if you already have the accounts ready.
What you'll need#
- A Shopify store — any plan, any theme. We don't touch your storefront design.
- A Whop account — free to create at whop.com. You'll need it to process payments.
That's it. No Stripe configuration, no theme edits, no developer time.
The three steps#
- 1. Connect your Shopify store
Click Get started in the dashboard, paste your store handle (e.g.
yourstore), and approve the Hygge app inside Shopify. Takes about 30 seconds.See Connect Shopify for the detailed walkthrough.
- 2. Add your Whop API key
Copy your company-scoped Whop API key from the Whop Developer dashboard and paste it into Hygge. We validate it on the spot.

- 3. Run a test purchase
Buy any product on your own store to confirm the integration works end-to-end. The drawer should open, the payment should land in your Whop, and the order should appear in your Shopify admin. Refund yourself afterward — it's just a dry run.

After you're live#
The dashboard becomes your day-to-day surface: revenue, transactions, your subscription, and a setup checklist if anything's still pending.
What changes for your buyers#
Almost nothing visual — the cart still lives on your Shopify storefront. The only difference is that when they hit Checkout, our drawer opens instead of Shopify's native checkout. They pay, the order syncs back, and Shopify sends the receipt as if nothing changed.
