Pricing and limits
How the three Hygge tiers work, when transaction limits kick in, and how the trial converts.
Hygge bills you a flat monthly subscription plus a 0.5% platform fee on every successful checkout. Whop's processor fees are separate and pass through transparently — they're whatever your Whop account is configured for.
The three tiers#
| Starter | Growth | Scale | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $29 | $99 | $299 |
| Transactions / mo | 100 | 1,000 | Unlimited |
| Stores | 1 | Multi-store routing | Unlimited |
| Support | Priority email | Dedicated Slack channel | |
| Custom checkout UI | — | — | ✓ |
| Upsell + order bump slots | — | ✓ | ✓ |
Every tier ships with a 14-day free trial. No card required to start exploring the dashboard — but you'll need to add one before the trial ends to keep your store accepting payments.
What "transaction limit" actually means#
The limit is successful buyer transactions per calendar month, counted from the 1st of the month UTC. Cancelled checkouts, abandoned carts, and refunds don't count against your limit.
When you hit the cap, new buyer checkouts return a subscription_required error and the drawer shows a "temporarily paused" message. Existing in-flight checkouts complete normally. The dashboard shows a coral banner with an upgrade CTA.
The reset is automatic at midnight UTC on the 1st of the next month.
Trial mechanics#
The 14-day clock starts the first time membership_activated fires from Whop — which is the moment you confirm your plan choice on Whop's checkout page. You can cancel from your Whop billing portal at any time during the trial without being charged.
If you don't cancel, your card is automatically billed on day 15 and the subscription rolls into the active state. We send a reminder email 3 days before the trial ends.
Upgrades and downgrades#
Both happen instantly through the Hygge → Whop billing portal. Upgrades take effect immediately and the new transaction limit kicks in for the rest of the current month (no proration of the cap itself). Downgrades take effect at the next billing period.
If your subscription enters past_due (Whop couldn't charge your card), we keep your store running for Whop's standard retry window so you don't lose sales while you update payment details. The dashboard shows a red banner during this window.
Refunds#
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on the subscription itself. After that, monthly fees are non-refundable. Buyer transaction refunds are handled by you through Whop — see Refund Policy for the details.
How it compares#
